

By Car: If travelling south from Scotland or north from London and Manchester, make your way to the M6. Take Junction 36 for the A65 and Kirkby Lonsdale. The school is approximately fifteen minutes' drive from the M6. Follow the signs to Kirkby Lonsdale and continue along the A65 in the direction of Skipton. Just outside Kirkby Lonsdale there is a bridge over the River Lune. The first road left once across the bridge is the A683 signposted to Sedbergh and Casterton village.
If approaching from the east, make your way to the A65 and follow the road towards Kendal, The Lake District and Kirkby Lonsdale. Signs for Kirkby Lonsdale and distances occur regularly. On the approach to Kirkby Lonsdale, as you drop down the rise with the speed camera and before the road bridge, turn right into the A683 for Sedbergh and Casterton.
The school is approximately one mile along the A683 in the village of Casterton. Pass the Pheasant Inn on the left, spot the church and turn right along the road just before the church. You will see the school in front of you and signs to lead you to the school’s front door.
By Rail: The nearest stations are Oxenholme Lake District near Kendal and Lancaster to the west of the M6 or Settle if approaching by rail from the east. Taxis are available at all locations.
By Air: Airports are at Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Blackpool. As above, take the M6 North from Manchester and Blackpool; make your way to the A65 from Leeds- Bradford.
