Our examination record at both GCSE and A level is outstanding.  Several students have recently been successful in their Oxbridge applications.

We offer small classes with individual learning programmes to suit a wide ranging ability and enable them to obtain their full potential. The choice of subjects on offer is wide and creative timetabling allows us to meet individual needs.

Our Careers department, with the support of the tutors, provides good quality advice and guidance on appropriate courses and the qualifications necessary for a successful University application.

Social Life - Work and play are well-balanced in the 6th Form and many social events are held throughout the year with Sedbergh School and Lancaster Boys Grammar School.  Girls also organize a Christmas party at a local venue, the Whoop Hall, and the annual Ball.   There are also annual Director dinners (girls meet with a member of staff each week) for support as well as Sports Dinners.
