Weekends
There is always lots to do and Casterton has managed to abolish the word 'boredom'. Since we are a boarding school, there is a full weekend programme of:
- sports fixtures and tournaments, including county and regional competitions
- play and concert rehearsals, debating competitions, rehearsals for Inter-House competitions
- a wide range of social events with boys’ schools
- a non-competitive sporting programme of badminton, volleyball, swimming and outdoor pursuits
- art, cookery and other clubs and societies such as Amnesty International and Christian Union
- regular visits to theatres, cinemas, galleries, museums and other places of interest and fun
- special events such as sponsored walks
- Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions
Your daughter will even have the chance to visit the shops of Leeds, Manchester and London! There is also time for reading, relaxing, catching up on any prep, exploring the surrounding countryside and simply being with her friends.
Day girls are always welcome to join in any weekend activity.
