We play friendly matches from years 7-13 on Saturdays and during the
summer and Autumn term we enter the Aegon sponsored schools tennis competitions. In 2010 the under 13 team reached the last 32 out of 2541
teams only losing to the eventual runners up in the national finals. In 2011 the under 13 team are south lakes and county champions and have again qualified for the regional finals. The under 15 team were runners up in the county finals. We have a permanent full time tennis coach on site and girls have regular lessons and coaching throughout the week and at weekends. The under 18
team reached the last 24 teams in the country in the Aegon championships
and have had many successful runs in the Aberdare cup competition. Students
also enter the Cumbria county individual and doubles championships and are always successful.
