Lacrosse

We have developed our lacrosse beyond all recognition over the past few years and play as regularly as we can travelling extensively through the North to play fixtures. We play friendly matches during the week and at weekends and we enter the national schools competitions at under 15 and under 18 levels and we enter the North schools tournaments. We host the North small schools regional round at Casterton and have qualified in recent years from this to attend the National small schools finals in Cirencester. We attend invitation tournaments in Scotland and go to London for the National Schools competition. Our under 18 squads are strong and we have 3 Yorkshire county representatives, one North of England representative and in the past two seasons two of our girls have represented England at under 18 and under 21 level.

The under 14 and 15 team had some tough matches and played and developed very well. Five girls as a result were selected to represent Yorkshire. The under 13 and under 14 team really enjoy lacrosse and are steadily developing their techniques and tactics and the future does look very good.
