Extra Curricular

Trips and extra-curricular activities are a key part of life both during the week and at weekends. Trips are offered across a variety of subject areas including exchanges to Germany and Canada, Art trips to London and Paris, a cultural trip to New York, and language trips to France, Nordic skiing and a forthcoming visit to South Africa with Operation Wallacea.

Casterton offers a Debating Society and a Public Speaking Society, both of which compete with other schools and also enters the Bank of England Target 2.0 competition and national Maths challenges.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme is popular and many girls complete their Gold Award. Other extra-curricular activities include sport, Choral Society, Medical Society, and Christian Union.
