Casterton Preparatory School is a boarding and day school. Boarding is for girls aged 8 years and upwards. The Prep School offers weekly and flexi boarding as well as full boarding.
All Preparatory School boarders are accommodated in Beale House – a happy, bright and lively house catering specifically for the social and pastoral welfare of all the children. The junior boarding life at Beale House is vibrant and exciting, making it an attractive alternative for many girls. Beale House is run by a Housemistress who lives in the house along with other residential staff.
There is a wealth of exciting activities constantly on offer for all the Preparatory School children – boys and girls, day and boarding – at the end of the school day. During weekends staff run workshops, visits, games and other activities to ensure that all the boarders are fully and happily occupied. These sessions are also open for all Day Pupils to join if they wish.
Any Day Girl is welcome to stay the night in Beale House at any time. There is a small charge for over-night stay – this charge is not applied if a sleep-over is considered necessary due to involvement in play performances, concerts etc.
