There are four comfortable and friendly senior boarding houses, each of which has a resident Housemistress.
Sixth-Form boarders live in one of three highly individual boarding houses, where they have considerably more freedom, privacy and independence. All the accommodation has been continuously upgraded and the Sixth Form Houses provide exceptionally attractive study bedroom accommodation as girls prepare for university.
Boarders and day girls are assigned to competitive houses when they join the school. There are inter-house sporting, drama and music competitions which encourage team work and a sense of belonging.
